10:45-11:30am	Golden 1 Center Tour The Golden 1 Center is the first LEED Platinum arena in the world. Ranking in the top 3 percent of high performance buildings worldwide, the Golden 1 Center gives green sports and entertainment a new standard. The building is 100 percent solar powered, cutting nearly 2,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually The arena boasts its greater use of light rail, commuter rail, buses, bikes, ridesharing, and other alternatives Efficient strategies including LED lighting controls, green walls, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and use of drought-resistant plants Sources 90 percent of their food ingredients from a 150-mile radius

Campuses are encouraged to organize as teams and draft implementation plans for their programs. A custom tool to facilitate this process will be provided. 4:00-6:30pm	Poster Session The Pac-12 Sustainability Conference invites proposals for posters to be displayed during the conference and highlighted during a dedicated part of the program. The goal of the posters are to showcase a range of ongoing sustainability projects and research throughout the Pac-12 via visual presentation of a topic allowing viewers to learn on their own while the presenter discusses particular points in one-on-one or small group conversations. The Green Sports Alliance Summit

Join us for the 7th annual Green Sports Alliance Summit in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings. The theme for the 2017 Summit is "PLAY GREENER™: Engaging Fans, Athletes & Communities", focused on mobilizing members and partners to bring about positive environmental and social impact across their fan-base and surrounding communities. Main stage sessions will prepare green sports stakeholders to leverage their influence by collaborating with athletes and engaging fans and communities inside and outside of sports venues to create measurable and lasting change.
